Challenges Faced:
Limited Access to Sports and Recreational Activities:
- Problem: Children in Kibera often lack safe and structured environments to play sports.
- Solution: AGOAL League provides organized football leagues, ensuring children have access to safe and structured play environments.
Nutritional Deficiencies:
- Problem: Many children in Kibera suffer from malnutrition due to food insecurity.
- Solution: We provide post-game meals to ensure our young athletes receive the necessary nutrition for growth and performance.
Hygiene and Health Issues:
- Problem: Girls in Kibera face challenges related to menstrual hygiene management, impacting their school attendance and participation in sports.
- Solution: We distribute sanitary towels to support girls’ health, dignity, and continuous participation in our programs.
Economic Hardships:
- Problem: Many families in Kibera struggle with economic instability, affecting their ability to support their children’s involvement in sports and other activities.
- Solution: We offer support to families facing economic difficulties, providing assistance to ensure their children can participate fully in our programs.
